This Privacy Policy explains how Alorny (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use QuantLab. We aim to collect as little as we need and to be clear about what happens with it.

1. Information we collect

• Account data, your email address, display name, and authentication details.
• Billing data, plan, add-on purchases, and payment records (card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us).
• Usage data, builds, backtests, and feature usage, used to enforce plan limits and improve the product.
• Strategy content, the prompts, blocks, and code you create. MT5 compilation and DeepTests run on your PC. Project content and results are stored through QuantLab account services, and AI build requests send relevant strategy content to the model provider.
• Technical data, IP address, browser type, and device information, collected for security and diagnostics.

2. How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the service;
• To enforce plan limits, process payments, and prevent abuse;
• To communicate with you about your account, security, and product updates;
• To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your private strategy code to train shared models.

3. Local-first processing

QuantLab is designed so that the most sensitive work, compiling and backtesting your strategies, runs locally through the desktop application on your hardware. The app also uses online account, project storage, and AI services. Local execution does not mean that all strategy content remains on your machine.

4. Your own AI keys

If you connect an Anthropic or OpenAI key, we use it only to send your build requests to that provider. Your prompts are then subject to that provider's privacy practices. We store your key encrypted and use it for no other purpose.

5. Third-party processors

We rely on trusted service providers for hosting, authentication, payment processing, and email delivery. These processors handle data only as needed to perform their service for us and are bound by appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to secure your session. We may use limited analytics to understand product usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service or comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures, encryption in transit, access controls, and regular review, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to notify you of any breach as required by law.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

10. Children

QuantLab is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the service or by email, and the “last updated” date above will reflect the latest revision.
