Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of QuantLab, a software product operated by Alorny (“Alorny”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

QuantLab is a software tool that helps you generate, edit, compile, and backtest algorithmic trading strategies for third-party platforms including MetaTrader 5, NinjaTrader 8, and TradingView. Builds and backtests may run locally on your own machine via the QuantLab desktop agent. QuantLab is a development tool only, it does not execute trades, manage funds, or provide financial advice.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use QuantLab. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Plans, billing & add-ons

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled.
  • Add-ons (capacity packs, unlocks, and services) are charged as described at the point of purchase. One-time capacity packs do not expire; recurring unlocks renew monthly.
  • You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
  • We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes do not affect the current paid period.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Resell or sublicense the service except as expressly permitted by your plan;
  • Use QuantLab to build software that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights, or violates a platform's terms;
  • Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls, or share a single account across an organization beyond your plan's seat allowance;
  • Upload malware or attempt to disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.

5. Your content & generated code

You retain ownership of the strategies you describe and, subject to your plan, the source code QuantLab generates for you. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating any generated code before using it with real capital. We make no warranty that generated code is error-free, profitable, or fit for a particular purpose.

6. Your own AI keys (BYO-AI)

If you connect your own AI provider key, you are bound by that provider's terms and are solely responsible for any usage and charges incurred through your key. We process your key only to fulfil your build requests and do not use it for any other purpose.

7. Intellectual property

QuantLab, the Alorny name, and all associated software, design, and trademarks are owned by Alorny and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service, not any ownership of it.

8. No financial advice; assumption of risk

QuantLab is a software tool, not a broker, investment adviser, or financial-services provider. Nothing in the service constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Trading carries a substantial risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and outcomes. Please read our Risk Disclosure.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alorny will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any trading losses, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to us or others. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
